VI. The States haue cashiered 3 regiments of their souldiers, namly the Counte of Vlodorp, Colonell Widerholt endt one more, which were leavied when[altered] the Bush was besieged, et are now cashiered, saue the Colonels et their companies. The soudiers runne most unto the enemie, since other leavies are not at hand.
VII. Ambassadours to Polonia are not yet named. But at this meeting of the States it will bee done perhaps. I heare because all the other mediatours haue been invited by K. Polonia, et those haue not, therefore they are not to send unto the action, but after the treatie for some other businesse.
VIII. Fraunce: 1. the treatie between Fraunce et the germane confoederates is said to bee concluded, et that K. IX. Germanie. I perceive that ower people will not stirre till they are strong enough. 1. Bannier et William Weimar are not but 9000 strong about Gotha, et exspecte some forces from Pomerania. 2. Saxons treatie though esteemed to bee at the very pointe of conclusion, yet is not counted but a Fridlandish or Wallsteinish treatie et will come to nothing, wherefore allso hee keeps his armie in pretie readinesse. 3. The armies about the Rhine do as yet nothing but spoile the poore palatinate, in so much that there is said to bee greate et heavi jealousie between the administrator et Oxenstern[altered]. There is arrived at the Hague unto the Queen a currier from the gouvenour of Heidelbergh Abell Moda. 4 Aboute the Donaw there are some Shwedish troupes about Ulm et aboute Schorndorf in Wirtenberg under two valiante commaunders Tupadle et Horfkirch which shall bee strenghtened with some Reingrafish et trouble somtimes the Imperialists a little.
