Abstract

Gill and Myers attempted to prove the will of William Whitham (in which they were named as executors), arguing that the will was valid. Jane, Ralph, Thomas and Edward Whitham and Isabella Dawson disputed this. Gill and Myers brought witnesses who confirmed that the will had been executed in a proper manner and that William Whitham had been of sound mind at the time. The court found for Gill and Myers.
