A category of people without landed property, possibly living permanently in somebody else’s household. They may have paid rent (UL Mb) or been labourers. Appearing in a list of poor people (UL Kkb) and dealt with concerning their responsibilities if they had keys to the farm where they lived (VmL Mb).
